Custer State Park Jeep Safari & Hiking Tour

Spend the morning getting up close with the Buffalo and wildlife in Custer State Park in the open-air jeeps. Lunch is at the historic State Game Lodge (summer White House for two presidents). The afternoon will be spent exploring the trails in Custer State park. 

Wine and Adventure Package

Choose your morning activity.  Spend the morning biking, hiking, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding in the beautiful Black Hills.  Enjoy a nice lunch in Hill City (lunch on your own) followed by wine tasting at Prairie Berry Winery. Includes all equipment.

Black Hills Intro to Climbing and Custer State Park Wildlife Tour 

Spend the morning learning how to rock climb in one of the world’s premiere climbing areas.  Spend the afternoon viewing the bison and other wildlife in Custer State Park.

Mt Rushmore and Flume Trail Hike

Spend the morning touring the Shrine of Democracy in the beautiful Black Hills. Our lunch stop is at the quaint German Alpine Inn Restaurant. The afternoon will be spent hiking 3 miles on the original Flume trail. Beautiful flora, wildlife and remnants of the Sheridan Lake/Rockerville Flume Trail will be present.

Mickelson Trail Bike Ride

Choose your distance and destination. Cruise through the beautiful Black Hills on your choice of Mountain Bike or Comfort Bike. We offer tours through some of the most beautiful parts of the Black Hills on the Mickelson Trail. Whether you are a bike enthusiast or the average traveler, this trail is easily manageable for the entire family.   Includes all equipment. 

Devil’s Tower Hikes

It’s like no other place on earth. Take a moderate hike or do some light bouldering around the base of a natural wonder.  With beautiful landscapes and fantastic views, you are sure to be impressed. Includes Park fees.

Pactola Lake Kayaking/Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Take in the awesome skyline and scenery of one of western South Dakota’s largest lakes.  Push yourself for some speed or just relax on one of our sit on top kayaks. Includes all equipment.

Prehistoric Bones and Stones Hike

Spend the day with a local expert exploring the prairie lands out near the Badlands.  Learn the history of the prehistoric creatures that roamed this area millions of years ago.  Our amazing guide will point out fossils that most people will never have the opportunity to see.  (no fossils may be touched or removed) You will spend time in the agate pits on the prairie looking for the illusive Fairburn agates.  If you find one, you get to keep it! (quite a prize) This tour is not for the faint of heart. This is a full day of hiking and adventuring! 

Ropes Course, Zipline, Alpine Slide, Tubing and Hiking Adventure Tour

Choose your activity or try them all.  We will spend the morning at the Adventure park followed by and afternoon of light hiking in the Black Hills.  

** Custom tours are available for one person or groups.  Prices are based on a two person minimum. All tours can be upgraded to private.


**   Black Hills Adventure Tours is permitted by the National Forest Service to guide on National Forest Service land. 


** Guides are CPR and First Aid Certified


** The Tax rate is 6%.  


** All Tour include a souvenir water bottle, all admission fees and light snacks.  Meals and gratuities are not included in the price.
